Register early for the always popular Derm Lab sessions on Thursday during Innovation Academy 2023. Attendees will have hands-on instruction and an opportunity to practice on-site. From suture techniques to wound closures, each session is led by experts who will share their knowledge and skills for success.
“L003 – Derm Labs: Innovative Suture Techniques Update” will combine lecture and video to demonstrate novel closure techniques using minimal tension to improve cosmetic outcomes.
“L004 – Derm Labs: Wound Closures” is geared toward beginner and intermediate levels, demonstrating a variety of wound closure techniques with faculty engaged in teaching at each table. The session focus includes relevant anatomy and the fundamentals of wound closures presented in brief didactic format. Additionally, experts will demonstrate complex layered linear repairs and local flaps, including all types of advancement, rotation, and transposition flaps.
