All a-board!
Residents and members are invited to muster and master board exams.

C002 – Conquer the Boards: Core Exam & Review
9 a.m.-noon | Friday, March 7
C006 – Conquer the Boards: Applied Exam & Review
1-4 p.m. | Friday, March 7
Both sessions in Room W202C
Each year, AAD members have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by reviewing and/or preparing for the American Board of Dermatology certification CORE and APPLIED exams. The corresponding Friday sessions are geared toward residents but are available for any physician who is looking to augment their education.
Jennifer Lucas, MD, MHCM, FAAD, FACMS, director of derm surgery/Mohs and vice chair of the Medical Subspecialty Institute at Cleveland Clinic, will lead C002 – Conquer the Boards: Core Exam & Review and C006 – Conquer the Boards: Applied Exam & Review.
Attendees should complete the at-home, simulated exams prior to the Annual Meeting. Then, those who attend one or both sessions can “review key concepts, familiarize themselves with the exam format, and build confidence through mock exams,” said Dr. Lucas.
The speakers who designed the abbreviated assessments will be available to discuss questions and concerns, as well as share informative insights, strategies, and more.
“This unique approach enhances your study preparation by offering a timed exam that covers all components of the exams, including medical, pediatric, and surgical dermatology, as well as dermatopathology,” Dr. Lucas said. “The expert educators leading the session will provide essential and valuable test-taking tips to help you succeed.”
This activity has been approved by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD) for up to 30 Continuing Certification Program (CCP) Component 2 Self-Assessment points. For more information about CCP, visit the ABD website at www.abderm.org.
