The 2025 AAD Annual Meeting offers attendees an abundance of education, interaction, and hands-on experience. Those in search of recreation, rest, or simply some food and fun will be in the right place in Orlando, Florida.

It may be known as the Theme Park Capital of the World, but the sunny city has many other highlights and attractions for people of all ages.

Orlando is home to more than 100 parks and 100 lakes, including Lake Eola, which is actually a giant sinkhole. Visitors to Lake Eola can view five different breeds of swans as well as the Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain — the official symbol of Orlando.

Located in east Orange County, the Orlando Wetlands contains more than 30 wildlife species that are listed on the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Threatened and Endangered Wildlife list. Beware, the park also estimates up to 1,700 alligators on its land at any given time!

Also popular is Orlando’s food scene, which includes more than 5,300 restaurants. Indulge in steak and seafood at Del Frisco’s or escape to Havana at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar. Looking to reach celebrity status? Kick back at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red or treat yourself to a delectable Italian meal at Primo Restaurant, founded by Melissa Kelly, two-time James Beard Award-winning chef.

At the end of a night, visitors can unwind at Disney Springs, which boasts 100-plus retail shops plus all-star eateries and live entertainment, including music at the House of Blues and the spectacular tour-de-force Drawn to Life, presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney.
