On Friday morning, the AAD will honor the exceptional contributions of two distinguished dermatologists in the field of skin health.
During N001 – Celebrating Excellence: A Duo of Distinguished Talks, Warren R. Heymann, MD, FAAD, will present the Fox Award Lecture, “Focusing on Permanencies Amidst Innovation,” followed by Andrew F. Alexis, MD, MPH, FAAD, who will present the Kelly Award Lecture, “Illuminating the Spectrum of Skin of Color: Clinical Challenges, Therapeutic Advances, and Future Directions.”
The session, led by Norwich, Connecticut, dermatologist Howard Wooding Rogers, MD, PhD, FAAD, will recognize the remarkable achievements of both honorees and reflect on their dedication, innovation, and profound impact on dermatology.
Dr. Heymann is a professor of dermatology at Rowan University’s Cooper Medical School in Stratford, New Jersey. Dr. Alexis is a professor of dermatology and vice chair for diversity and inclusion at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York.
