Effective communication is a core competency for leadership in dermatology. As such, the AAD is hosting four opportunities to attend its popular Media Training session during the Annual Meeting to help dermatologists hone their media communication skills — from traditional to social media.
Learning how to successfully craft and deliver key messages will help you communicate effectively in any situation, including preparing compelling and relatable messaging, communicating that messaging clearly, concisely, and effectively, and developing strategies for staying on point in challenging situations. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice what they’ve learned about message development and delivery in mock media interviews.
Communications consultant Leigh Madden leads the training. Anthony Rossi, MD, FAAD, and Anne M. Chapas, MD, FAAD, share course director roles for the four sessions.
Please register for only one Media Training session as all the sessions present the same content. The session is a ticketed event, open to physician member, life member, and honorary member registrants.
